Tricity Integrated Farms’ primary focus in livestock production and processing is on cattle. However, we also are interested in goat and pig production and processing.

Nigeria’s livestock industry involves different species of animals, amongst which are cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, grasscutter etc.

Evidently, cattle production is recognized as the greatest contributor in the industry. Livestock, particularly cattle, have a strong role in poverty alleviation, although the degree and nature of their contribution had varied yet, in terms of productivity, Nigeria’s huge livestock resources are one of the poorest in the world.

The meat processing industry is a segment of the Nigerian Agricultural Industry that is not as well developed as other segments. It is characterised by several players struggling for market share with few dominant players. Most players are small/medium scale using largely manual methods and processes in open slaughter slabs. There are a few large scale companies, who also have rearing facilities.

Processing of blood, feathers, dung, and other by-products is rarely done. Tricity Integrated Farms intends to close this gap within a short period with our innovative and world class standard of meat processing. This will be facilitated by our strategic collaborations with one of the world’s best meat processing equipment manufacturer and processor.
